Ten years at U.S. Venture, from writing C# for ecommerce to owning the enterprise integration strategy and the organization that delivers it.

  1. Enterprise Integration Architect · AI Tech Lead · Engineering Manager

    U.S. Venture, Inc. · Appleton, WI

    – Present

    • Lead a 20+ person engineering organization spanning application development, EDI, and enterprise integration, with three direct reports overseeing 12 software engineers from Level I through Senior, a solutions architect, two business analysts, and a QA function.
    • Own the enterprise integration and EDI strategy, setting the multi-year technical direction for how U.S. Venture's systems connect and exchange data.
    • Run all integration delivery across three dedicated pods (US AutoForce, EDI, and Corporate/Boomi), aligning pod structure and staffing to business priorities.
    • Manage hybrid onshore and offshore teams end to end: lead hiring for internal engineering roles, and evaluate and onboard staff-augmentation talent, including an offshore senior Boomi developer running 150+ integrations.
    • Lead the organization's technical implementation of AI, covering tooling strategy and rollout for Claude, Cursor, and GCP ADK, and development of production AI agents in Python and .NET.
    • Own budget and spend across all three pods and manage vendor relationships for core tooling including Claude, Cursor, Fivetran, and Boomi.
    • Drive a cross-functional cohort advancing enterprise-wide data modernization with stakeholders across business and technology functions outside the integration team.

  2. Application Engineer II

    • Served as ERP technical lead for the organization's D365FO implementation, coordinating design, development, and delivery across business and technical teams.
    • Directed 10+ offshore developers against architecture standards, coding practices, and project timelines.
    • Administered D365FO and AX2012 across 60+ cloud and local development environments and 9 ISV solutions, and led modernization work including AX2012 CU upgrades and AIF integrations.
    • Designed CI/CD pipelines and managed code promotion through Azure DevOps, TeamCity, GitHub, and Octopus Deploy.
    • Built Azure Data Factory pipelines and Synapse workspaces, and configured D365 Data Lake and the Data Management Framework to enable Power BI reporting and real-time analytics.
    • Defined ERP security roles and auditing policies supporting data governance and compliance.
